October 31st is Gritty Guru Company’s 3rd anniversary and all I can say is wheeeeee for year 3!!!
If you’ve had a chance to check out my last few blogs, you may have noticed the theme was my ongoing struggle to embrace and become fluid at online marketing. Today I’m delighted to share that all the hard work I often forced myself to do has come full circle and connected me to a group of professionals who meet regularly to help grow each other’s businesses by making old-fashioned, word-of-mouth referrals.
With my increased online presence came more exposure for my GRIT framework and new ways for people to see how GRITizens get things done! Thanks to this visibility, I was invited to apply for the Life Coach seat in the Halton Chapter of Business Networking International (BNI). I’m thrilled to be part of this powerful community where the focus is on giving more than you get.
I attended my first meeting as the resident Life Coach earlier this month and I’m so excited about what’s in store for me and my company! This opportunity is beyond my wildest dreams and I feel as though I’ve found more of my people.
What really impressed me about this group is how much everyone is invested in getting to know about the services and experience each professional has to offer over time. Ultimately, we all become ambassadors for each other’s businesses.
The first connection I made was with Jim Spirou, Audio Production Specialist and Co-Founder of musicboxx and guess what….
Breaking news!!!
We’re working on the audio version of Know, Grow and Show Your GRIT! Self-Discovery Made Simple. What!!??!!?!
That’s right!! Sometimes I can’t even believe it!! The audio book will be released in March 2023 on the second anniversary of the print and e-book release date 🥳.
Up until now, my blogs for 2022 have captured how I begrudgingly took the first few steps on my journey of a thousand miles. Today’s view of my journey from the top of the mountain I just climbed is all happiness and GRITitude for sticking with it!!
It has reinforced the importance of putting one foot in front of the other even when I couldn’t see the full path and I wanted no involvement whatsoever with anything related to online marketing. I’ve finally found my groove of posting and I feel as though online marketing has become a healthy habit 👍🏾.
What journey are you on today? How far along do you feel? Keep taking one step at a time.
